Lynn A. Mickelsen was a General Authority of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was sustained as a member of the Second Quorum of the Seventy on March 31, 1990, and served in that quorum until he was transferred to the First Quorum of the Seventy on April 3, 1993. He was granted emeritus status on October 3, 2009.

He was born on July 21, 1935, and reared on a farm in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He attended Ricks College and earned a degree in agricultural economics from Brigham Young University. He operated a potato farm in Idaho.

Mickelson and his wife, Jeanine, are the parents of nine children. They served as Spanish-speaking officiators in the Idaho Falls Idaho Temple. They served together as he presided over the Colombia Call Mission. He has also served as an Regional Representative, stake president, high councilor, and bishop. As a young man he served a mission to Central America.
