Total membership of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for the end of the year 2016 is 15,882,417. Statistics announced for the end of 2016 also included the following: 70,946 missionaries currently serving full-time missions in 421 missions; 556 Districts; 30,304 wards and branches (congregations) currently functioning in 3,266 stakes (administrated groups of congregations). There are 33,695 members serving Church-service missions.
