A Mission President is a high priest called to watch over a specific region and its missionaries, called a Mission. Typically, a mission president and his wife serve in this function for a period of 3 years and manage the affairs of the missionaries in that area. Mission presidents are unlike Senior Missionaries in that they maintain a leadership role over all the missionaries in the area.
