The internet is a wonderful thing, but anyone can post there.  It has become a pool of information and disinformation, and often uncivilized discourse.  While faithful members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, often inadvertently called the Mormon Church, write and blog about their sincere faith in their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and the saving doctrines of the Church, around 750 anti-Mormon ministries publish material meant to destroy the Church and the faith of its members.  These websites also seek to dissuade sincere investigators of the Church from pursuing what the Holy Spirit is leading them to do.  More often than twisting Mormon Doctrine to confuse people, anti-Mormon websites seek to bring up instances from Mormon history to surprise those unversed in it and pull the spiritual rug out from their belief.  It behooves Mormon faithful to learn MORE about their history.  What happens is that when their faith is shaken, they believe the new information they have received without investigating further.  If they were to delve even deeper into Mormon history, they would find an answer to every challenge, because the Church is still the only true and living church on the face of the earth, and is, indeed, personally led by [[Jesus Christ]].

Mormon History

The internet is a wonderful thing, but anyone can post there. It has become a pool of information and disinformation, and often uncivilized discourse. While faithful members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, often inadvertently called the Mormon Church, write and blog about their sincere faith in their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and the saving doctrines of the Church, around 750 ministries antagonistic toward the Church of Jesus Christ publish material meant to destroy the Church and the faith of its members. These websites also seek to dissuade sincere investigators of the Church from pursuing what the Holy Spirit is leading them to do. More often than twisting the doctrine of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ to confuse people, websites antagonistic to the Church seek to bring up instances from Latter-day Saint history to surprise those unversed in it and pull the spiritual rug out from under their belief. It behooves Latter-day Saint faithful to learn MORE about their history. What happens is that when their faith is shaken, they believe the new information they have received without investigating further. If they were to delve even deeper into Latter-day Saint history, they would find an answer to every challenge, because the Church is still the only true and living church on the face of the earth, and is, indeed, personally led by Jesus Christ.
