Naufahu Tahi

Naufahu Tahi is a former professional football fullback. The Cincinnati Bengals signed him in 2006 as an undrafted free agent. He played for the Minnesota Vikings from 2006 through 2010. He signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars in May 2012, but in July, he left the Jaguars training camp for personal reasons and was released later that day. He spent the 2012 season as the running backs coach at Granger High School in West Valley City, Utah.

During his senior year at Granger High School, he was named the USA Today Player of the Year. He then played for Brigham Young University for one year before departing on a full-time mission to Florida for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. During his senior year at BYU, he had a career-best 872 yards rushing from scrimmage and scored eight touchdowns.

Tahi has served as an offensive graduate assistant and offensive administrative assistant at Utah State University. He earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Utah State in 2015.
