Ralphie Jacobs Mormon Photographer

Ralph Jacobs is a photographer who primarily likes to capture moments with people. She said in an interview with MormonArtist.net: “I love personality. And people have no end of it. The more obvious the emotion, the more a photograph moves me. These are the pictures where there is a true story being told.”[1]

Jacobs is largely self-taught as she experimented to take good photographs of her children. She loves natural lighting and believes that “light is a secret ingredient to great art.” She also loves post-processing where she can add drama to her photographs.

She attended Utah State University and majored in early childhood education. She and her husband, Brian, are the parents of three daughters.
