Ralphie Jacobs is a social media influencer through SimplyOnPurpose, her Instagram account and web page. She is a parenting specialist and offers research-based positive parenting techniques for parents. She also speaks to parents through workshops and online and in-person parenting classes. Her goal is to improve children’s lives through their parents.[1]

Ralphie is one of nine children. She and her husband have four daughters. She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They live in Austin, Texas.

In 2017, Ralphie heard a General Conference talk by Elder D. Todd Christofferson, a member of the Church’s Quorum of the Twelve Apostles that struck a cord. In it he quoted Deseret News’ Hal Boyd to call on “those with education and strong families to stop feigning neutrality and start preaching what they practice pertaining to marriage and parenting . . . [and] help their fellow Americans embrace it.”[2]

With a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from Utah State University, she launched her effort to become the resource for herself as a parent and for thousands of other parents. On her website she says, “Call it a purpose, a blessing, a gift, whatever you’d like, but children are my life’s work.”[3]

As of November 2020, Ralphie had over 300,000 followers.
