Rich Raddon was a director of the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival and has served as a producer of several independent films. Raddon was one of the most prominent Latter-day Saints to loose his job as a result of following the counsel of the First Presidency to support Proposition 8.

Raddon is a Latter-day Saint (LDS).[1] He received a bachelors degree in business finance from Brigham Young University in 1991. In 2008 he headed the direction of the LDS First Presidency and donated to the Yes on Proposition 8 campaign in California. Raddon resigned from his LA Independent Film Festival position following the passage of Proposition 8, saying he was "profoundly sorry for the negative attention that my actions have drawn to Film Independent".[2]
