Richard G. Oman is an art historian and was the curator at the Museum of Church History and Art, owned and operated by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, of which he is a member. While at the museum, he began the International Art Competition, which has brought great artists out of obscurity and added to the Church’s collection.
