Richard Sharrah is an actor, best known for his work on “Kid History” and “Kid Snippets” videos. He helped create the “Bored Shorts” YouTube channel, which has over 250 million views and 500,000 subscribers. He founded and is president of the Kid History Foundation, which fundraises and provides care for children in need.

Beyond YouTube, he had a part in the ABC pilot of “Blood & Oil” and films “Being Charlie,” “Just Let Go,” and “Alienate.” He has appeared in commercials and has modeled for advertisements in LG Electronics, Walmart, and Velore. He has also acted in regional theater, including South Pacific,” “West Side Story,” “Great Expectations,” “Into the Woods,” “An Ideal Husband,” “Grease,” and others.

He cofounded Wappa Productions in 2016 where he is an actor, writer, director, and producer.

He was reared in Oklahoma but lived in Australia for two years during junior high. He holds a bachelor’s degree in acting from New York University Tisch School of the Arts.

Sharrah is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
