Saren Eyre Loosli co-directed Power of Moms with April Perry from 2008 to 2017. In 2018, Power of Moms expanded by launching Power of Families. Now Saren directs Power of Families and April directs Power of Moms. A team of volunteer moms help direct the effort.

Saren is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served a mission in Eastern Europe and has done humanitarian work in Kenya and Bolivia. She ran volunteer-promotion efforts nationwide for The Points of Light Foundation and set up programs in needy schools and ran training programs for educators.

She is the co-author of Deliberate Motherhood: 12 Key Powers of Peace, Purpose, Order & Joy and Motherhood Realized: An Inspiring Anthology for the Hardest Job You’ll Ever Love. She has a podcast called Power of Families Radio and also runs The Joy School Company. Her parents are Richard and Linda Eyre.

She and her husband, Jared, are the parents of five children including a set of twins.
