Scott Lieng is a U.S. Navy supply corps officer. He is featured on the U.S. Navy’s “Faces of the Fleet” on YouTube.

Scott was born in Cambodia, and his mother bravely took him out of the country when he was about 2 years old. She escaped a slave labor camp in Thailand and managed to bring him to the United States to the state of California. After his high school graduation, he entered the U.S. Naval Academy.

In the video, he indicates he hopes to go back to Cambodia after his retirement and build schools.
