'''Sherrizah''' is a location in the [[Book of Mormon]]. In the [[Book of Moroni]], [[Moroni]] copies a second letter that his father [[Mormon]] has written to him prior to being killed by the [[Lamanites]]. In it, he explains the plight of the widows of Sherrizah. Having fled to a tower, the Lamanites came and killed all the men of the land. They then cruely forced the women and children to eat their fathers flesh and little else. As the [[Lamanites]] left, they took with them a large amount of the food in the land. [[Zenephi]] and his armies then took what little remained. Left with no food, many wandered and died.
