Shez is a character in the Book of Mormon's Book of Ether. He succeeded the wicked king of the Jaredites, Heth to the throne. Shez, however, ruled in righteousness. His son Shez, however, sought to destroy him. He failed in doing so, however, because he was murdered by a robber on account of his riches. This left Shez to reign the remainder of his days in peace until he gave his kingdom to hos son Riplakish.[1]

He is noted in the genealogy of Ether listed in the first chapter of the Book of Ether as being the father of Riplakish and the son of Heth.[2]
