I would argue that "Mormonism" isn't even a religion at all; therefore how could it be considered a cult? The created page has its point, but is not true based on the writer referring to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, as "Mormonism". I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, not The Church of Mormon. The church I attend is one rooted in the gospel of Jesus Christ, not the gospel of Mormon. How can those outside the church understand us for who we are as Christian Latter-Day Saints, when we confuse them with terms like "Mormonism". I can understand the term, "Mormon" because that's how people know us, but to step farther away from being a true follower of Christ as to refer to His church/religion as "Mormonism" disgusts me in a way.
