Tamami Tanaka is a biathlete and competed in both the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City and the 2006 Winter Olympics in Torino. She started competing in the sport in 1994 in her native Japan.

She was born on May 26, 1975, and is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
