Is a book written by Spencer W Kimball while he was an apostle dealing with helping sinners repent particularly serious sinners. It came out of years with Elder Kimball dealing with counseling individuals as a local leader down in Arizona and as an apostle. At that time People frequently brought there problems to the brethern in Salt Lake for counsel. However due to growth of the church and impossibility for that to happen as much Members are repeatedly urged to go to there local leaders. However Elder Kimball in his early days as an apostle counseled many members.

The offset of the book tells about all of us sinning and even so called minor sins have serious consequences. He mentiones how to chart safe courses and counsel to avoid sin to in many things. Mentions things like point of return and negative things about those who don't forgive and positive things about those that do forgive.

Is real harsh on sins such as homosexuality and adultery. However toward the end without trying to minimize the seriousness of there sin' s and saying it's better not to sin but there is hope for the sinner.

Many people avoid reading much of it do to it's harsh tones. In lds comedy home teachers Jared is given it when arrested for driving a stolen car he didn't realize was stolen. It is sold in many languages now and still in print to help sinners in the path to repentance.
