He has served in numerous other Church positions, such as Sunday School president, stake high councilor, stake president’s counselor, stake president, temple ordinance worker, stake mission president’s counselor, Area Seventy, and deacons quorum adviser. He served a full-time mission in the Germany South Mission and presided over the Oregon Portland Mission (2008–2011).
