Tristi Pinkston is the author of more than forty books. Her genres include suspense (Agent in Old Lace, 2009); historical (Season of Sacrifice, 2008; Strength to Endure 2004; Nothing to Regret, 2002); young adult fiction (Turning Pages, 2012); nonfiction (Women of Strength, 2012); and a series of mysteries (A Secret Sisters Mystery), which includes Till Death Do Us Part (2013), Targets in Ties (2012), Hang ’Em High (2011), and Dearly Departed (2011), and the novel Secret Sisters (2010). She has also written The Estelle Watkins Mysteries series (Taking Out the Trash, Taking Care of Business, Taking the Floor, Taking the Reins) and the Omni Orchids Mysteries series (Tulips and Treason).

Pinkston is also a freelance editor. She owns a publishing company, Trifecta Books. She is on the board of directors for iWriteNetwork, is the managing editor for GospelIdeals.org, and contributes to the Association for Mormon Letters. Her work often appears in the online Meridian Magazine, which is geared toward member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, of which she is a member. She was a media reviewer for Families.com.

She was homeschooled by her parents and produced her first book at the age of five. She took two creative writing courses through independent study at Brigham Young University and a course in floral design from the International Correspondence Schools.

She and her husband, Matt, are the parents of four children.
