When referring to the church, we must use its official name the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It is true that many do not know us by that appelation, but we may add (Mormons) or "Mormon Church" to help readers make the connection.
If we fail to make the distinction, we merely aggravate the misconception that we do not follow the teachings of Jesus Christ.
