This will be New Zealand’s third temple. Wellington, the capital of New Zealand, is located on the southwestern tip of the North Island. The Auckland New Zealand Temple is under construction and the Hamilton New Zealand Temple, the first house of the Lord built in the southern hemisphere, was rededicated on October 16, 2022, after renovations.
