In 2021, Mikayla Colohan was named Top Drawer Soccer’s 2021 National Player of the Year. She scored 18 goals in 2021, second most in the nation. She also tallied 16 assists.

Kayla has been one of the United States’ top college soccer players. She finished her college career with 53 goals, second most in Brigham Young University history. She was also an academic all-American. The 2021 season ended with her team in college soccer’s Final Four. The women’s soccer coaching staff was named the 2021 NCAA DI Women’s Staff of the Year by the United Soccer Coaches

Early in 2021, Kayla was selected by the Orlando Pride of the National Women’s Soccer League and she considered skipping her final year of college eligibility to play professionally. She returned to BYU however, saying she had “unfinished business.”[1] She was named the 2021 West Coast Conference Player of the Year for two years.

Kayla played soccer at Davis High School in Kaysville, Utah. She was named Utah’s Ms. Soccer in 2016. She was All-American Team West captain and part of the Dart’s All-American High School Team. She was invited to U-17 U.S. camp.

She married professional baseball player Jackson Cluff in the Draper Utah Temple.
