Welcome to MormonWiki! :-) There are great things being done and lots of opportunity to contribute. I've moved your bio to your user page and your poem to a user subpage, where people who are interested in you as an editor and member of the wiki can more easily find them. To find out more about user pages, what they are, what they're for, and how they work, check out the explanation of user pages on Wikipedia.

You might want to put a link to your poem on your user page. You can do that you can use this wiki markup on your page: [[User:Valjohnjennings/A Godly Garden|A Godly Garden]]

If you need more information on editing the wiki, be sure to check out the help link on the menu bar.

Once again, welcome! We're always glad to have new contributor to the content. --Seanmcox 14:33, 26 August 2007 (MDT)

Valjohnjennings, as mentioned before, it is highly recommended that you post poetry and other such personal artistic works which you wish to maintain control of as user subpages. That said, the purpose of the wiki is also not to serve as a forum for showcasing yourself and there has been some concern that all of your contributions seem to be of this nature. I also see that this is not the first time you have run afoul of proper wiki usage. If you would like to contribute to the wiki in a way that enhances the wiki's value for our target audience, (nonmembers looking to learn more about the church) we would love to see you as an editor or writer. However, if you are looking for a free home page, this is not the place to do so. --Seanmcox 09:57, 11 October 2007 (MDT)

I moved the following content here:

Several years ago when my youngest daughter was seven, we sustained a person in a new calling. As I am watching my daughter raise the wrong hand to sustain the person and to gently correct her, I whispered" Valerie, you are supposed to use your right hand." She pursed her lips and spoke quite emphatically, saying: "He said the uplefted hand!"

Might go in a user subpage, or might be put in Mormon Humor. --Seanmcox 11:05, 29 October 2007 (MDT)
