Zenock

The Book of Mormon
Zenock was a prophet of Israel in Old Testament times who is mentioned only in the Book of Mormon. He prophesied that Christ would yield himself to be crucified (1 Nephi 19: 10). He spoke and testified of the Son of God and that redemption comes through Him (Alma 33: 15 and Alma 34: 7). When the people did not understand his words, Zenock became a martyr for the truth (Alma 33: 17). He prophesied concerning the coming of the Messiah (Helaman 8: 20).
