Gregorio E. Casillas

Gregorio E. Casillas was called to serve as a General Authority Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was sustained on April 6, 2024, during the opening session of general conference.

Elder Casillas was born in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico, on August 26, 1975. He and his wife, Alma, have three children and reside in Mexicalia, Baja California, Mexico.

He received a degree in civil engineering from the Autonomous University of Baja California in 2023 and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Xochicalco University in 2024. He has worked as a project manager for several construction firms and for the Church as a temple engineer. He currently works for the Church as an area temple facilities manager.

At the time of his call, he was serving in the Sixth Quorum of the Seventy and working for the Church as an Area Temples Facilities manager. He previously has served as a full-time missionary in the México Tampico Mission, bishop, stake president, ward Young Men president and president of the México México City South Mission, from 2018 to 2021.
