Marvin Perkins is a Latter-day Saint music producer and DVD producer. Along with Darius Gray, Perkins has produced a set of DVDs entitled Blacks in the Scriptures. He also has written a widely turned to paper entitled "How to Reach African-Americans".

In June of 2008 CNN aired an interview with Perkins in which he was able to vocally explain his faith in the teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Brother Perkins was raised in other Christian faiths and joined the Church in his late teens.

Perkins has made CDs of hymns.

As of early 2009 Perkins serves as the Public Affairs director for the Genesis Group. He has given many presentations about Africans, primarily African-Americans although not uniquely so, and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.[1]
