Ethem is a character briefly mentioned in the Book of Mormon. In the Book of Ether, he was a wicked ruler of the Jaredites. During his time, the iniquity and chaos among the Jaredites continued to grow. During his reign, it is noted that the prophets began to withdraw from the people because of the hardness of the hearts of the people. His son Moron succeeded him to the throne. [1]
Ethem is also noted in the genealogy of Ether listed in the Book of Ether as being an father of Moron and the son of Ahah.
