Jorge Alfonso Rojas Ornelas was a General Authority of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served in the Second Quorum of the Seventy from April 6, 1991, to October 5, 1996.
Rojas was born on September 27, 1940, in Delicias, Chihuahua, Mexico, and raised in Chihuahua City. Desiring to learn English, he attended the Church-owned Academia Juarez in Colonia Juarez. He boarded with an Latter-day Saint family that encouraged him to attend English-language Latter-day Saint Church meetings. He was baptized a member in 1959.
